Each has its own set of beliefs and holidays to observe. Nature has bestowed upon us a plethora of tourism attractions. Nepal is a nation of timeless beauty and appeal, bordered by the great heights of the Himalayas. Throughout the year, they celebrate several festivals with their own rites and customs. Nepalese culture is often entwined with the cultures of the Indian subcontinent and Tibet. Some people are interested in learning about Nepal’s history, culture, religion, and so on. In terms of cultural legacy, the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal (formerly the Kingdom of Nepal) is a wealthy country. Families who practise this culture genuinely love and support one another. Nepal is a nation in Asia, directly beneath China and above India. Each community has its own distinct culture and customs that have been practised for ages. Although Nepalis are amicable, public shows of affection are frowned upon. Superstitions reign supreme, and praising a baby’s looks or walking on spilt rice brings bad luck. Red chillies are hung around to ward off evil spirits, and bus drivers say a prayer before leaving. In Nepalese culture, the family is highly important, and it is typically close-knit and devoted. I will offer a brief overview of Nepalese culture and festivals in this article, but I will not go into detail on Nepalese history, population, education, language, political perspective, or economy.

I pick this topic because Nepal culture is rich in religion and festivals. Hindus and Buddhists make up the vast bulk of the population In Nepal. Also, this multi-faceted legacy reflects Nepal’s ethnic, tribal, and socioeconomic diversity in Dance and Music, art and craft, philosophy and religion, festivals and celebrations, and cuisines and beverages. Therefore, after using my website, Nepalese tourists can get an idea of ​​Nepalese culture, traditions, and other essentials before visiting the country. Also, this website benefits for the student who learning about Nepalese culture for the first time.

When I came to Canada I met a Nepali friend.  He is a very friendly and kind person. He told me about his country and culture.  After hearing his words, I also wanted to explore Nepalese culture.

I choose to write this story because, there are many people who don’t know about Nepali culture. There are people who think and look differently in Nepal culture but, I need to proof that this culture is richer in humanity and kindness like any other culture.

I plan to interview my friend Milan Bhusal who met in Thompson Rivers University after I came to Canada. He’s from Nepal. Therefore, I am going to ask few questions about his culture and what kind of festivals they celebrate in Nepal and what kind of food they eat. I hope anyone who listening to this audio will gather knowledge about Nepal culture.

c. Investigative Video – pitch the story you will tell in this project and explain why it suits the media

For the video I choose to show him explaining some of his photos that took in Nepal. In these photos I like to show the way he dresses for the festivals and what are the games they play to celebrate festivals. To add more, I would like to show you different kinds of food they eat. Therefore, people who will see this could get a really good idea of the way of life in Nepalis.
